Product Overview
The RF Switch Select Board VCP Version 2 (RFSB2) resides in the RF Hub sub-assembly, which is part of DVMR. It's main function is to route and convert input MRI signals to 16 channels of intermediate frequency (IF) receivers. The RFSB2 interfaces to MRI coils through the coil interface ports and a gain stage. Once the MRI signals reach the RFSB2, they are routed according to software command, and subsequently down-converted to the desired IF. Finally, the signals are routed to 16 channel IF receivers. The RFSB2 consists of a 12 layer PCB board assembled to its own aluminum front panel with ejectors. The panel provides EMI shielding for RF Hub and also provides mechanical support for the RF input connectors, and allows viewing of the LED indicators. All materials and fasteners are non-magnetic and RoHS compliant.
