Product Overview
The Plug in Module Assembly MC RW with New Motion Amplifier is used in Ultrasound and many other similar medical devices. It is comprised of a motion control carrier, AMC amplifier, faceplate, cable, screw, Loctite, nut, connector and washers. The board is to interface to the AMC Dx15CT8J motion control amplifier. The amplifier is a digital servo amplifier with general purpose and dedicated I/O and a CAN open interface. The amplifier CAN node ID and baud rate are to be configured over the CAN bus at the time of manufacture. In order to allow this, the amplifier node ID and baud rate DIP switches should all be set to “Off”. MCA Carrier assembly is to provide electrical signals and CAN communication interface between the electrical device peripherals and the motion control amplifier. All power supply connections are through backplane connector J14. Separate returns are brought into the board for each of the supplies, +48VDC motor power, +24VDC logic power, +12VDC CAN bus power, and +5VDC alignment light power. The MCA Carrier assembly may be shipped singly in a shipping container or in multiples by means of a larger shipping container. In both cases, the board is protected from ESD hazards. All shipping containers shall comply with the material and packing requirements.
